Lee Cooper goes vintage with the Selvedge Collection. These one-of-a-kind denims are hard to find and much harder to fabricate. It starts with fabric sourced from traditional shuttle looms. These pieces of materials are from a bygone era wherein the yarn produces a narrower width (about half the size of the modern day fabric). Selvedge literally means “Self Edge” pertaining to the natural end of the fabric yarn which does not unravel or fray.

A mark of superior quality, Selvedges are worn with the leg ends turned up. The striped design created by the self-edge of the fabric creates a signature of true workmanship, something original, something uniquely yours.
